Create your Lenten Almsgiving Campaign to help poor communities of faith

This Lenten season, we have an exciting new opportunity for you to engage with Catholic Extension’s mission to build up vibrant and transformative Catholic faith communities in America’s poorest regions.

For Catholics around the world, Lent is a time to experience more profoundly the Mercy of God being revealed to us in Christ’s sacrificial life-giving love for each of us and for all humanity.

As you prepare for Easter, we hope you will dedicate your Lenten almsgiving efforts to our Catholic brothers and sisters in the poorest areas of the United States.

This Lent, please stand in solidarity with Catholic faith communities in the poorest parts of the country by creating a personal fundraising campaign for our Lenten Almsgiving initiative. This initiative will run through the Lenten season and culminate on Easter, April 4th.

Throughout Catholic Extension’s 115 years of working with the poor, we have learned that although these communities may lack in financial resources, they are rich in vibrant and transformative faith.
