We met in college--a setting we wouldn't have found ourselves in if it weren't for thousands of hours reading going all the way back to childhood.
There are approximately 25 million American children whose reading skillsets are in serious need of support.
In lieu of a traditional wedding registry, we are asking for our loved ones to contribute to Reading Is Fundamental (RIF), the nation’s largest children’s literacy nonprofit. RIF believes every child deserves an opportunity to own books, learn how to read, and obtain the fundamental building blocks to achieve their highest potential. Literacy opens doors and enables every child the chance to live their own best journey.
